Do you have a fussy eater? Mums’ favourite baby food Organix has come up with an exciting way to encourage your child be adventurous in his or her diet. According to a recent survey by the company, 75% of mums said that allowing your child to play and experiment with his or her food is the best way to encourage a positive attitude towards mealtimes

After further research, Organix has determined that encouraging children to experiment with food helps them gather sensory information and learn how to accept new foods. Foods with interesting textures, such as pasta and rice cakes, can help develop your child’s curiosity about food and build their confidence and enjoyment.

Nutrition Advisor Dr Frankie Phillips says, ‘The introduction of finger foods can help to develop a little one’s sense of independence, and parents can encourage a positive attitude to food by making mealtimes fun for their child and allowing them to play with and experiment with their food.’ Dr Phillips also notes that experimenting with finger foods can help develop your child’s hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and dexterity.

Here are some fun statistics from Organix’s new survey:

  • 76% of mums said that making mealtimes fun for your child helps develop positive attitude towards food.
  • 86% of mums feel it’s important for babies to handle and play with new foods before they taste it.
  • 93% of mums feel it’s important to let a baby play with and experiment with food.
  • 93% of mums recognise that the first year of a baby’s life is about fun – playing with food and developing skills.

  • 2 Organix raspberry & blueberry rice cakes
  • 1 large banana
  • 1/4 apple
  • 1 strawberry
  • 5 blueberries

  1. Peel the banana and cut in half. Mash one half into a puree, and cut 2 round discs off the other half. Cut the remaining piece in half lengthwise from top to bottom. Cut the apple into 6 very thin slices. Cut the tip off the bottom of the strawberry, and then cut in half to make 2 little triangle shaped pieces.
  2. Spread the banana puree in a circle in the middle of the plate and add banana discs for eyes and the long banana slices for ears.
  3. Place 2 blueberries on the eyes, and use the rest to make a blueberry bow tie, then place the Organix rice cakes on the puree to make the cheeks.
  4. Finally, add a strawberry nose and mouth and some apple whiskers.

I got frightened when I saw this picture at the really first time. I think it is the act of some extremist as a sign of dispute as marketing tool guide me. I have seen Americans do not like black people there.

Finger foods are a fun way to encourage co-ordination and develop the skills necessary to bite, chew and self-feed. Finger foods need to be easy to pick up and hold and free from pips, stones or bones. Once baby can pick things up with reasonable hand to eye coordination the fun can begin! Let them experiment with soft finger foods like banana or peach that can be ‘gummed’ to a suitable consistency. The more your baby experiments with finger foods the quicker she will become proficient at feeding herself.Write my Essay
